A condo meeting or lounge room may benefit from lighting that responds to ordinary use. That does not mean the same sensor should determine who booked the room, whether a guest is authorized or how charges are allocated. Keep those operating questions separate from the device purchase.
FP2 can be evaluated for supported presence zones with continuous USB power and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The room layout, partitions and moving objects affect the setup. Define the actual control objective and test it with both seated users and an empty room.
Keep booking records and access permissions in the appropriate existing workflow. A sensor purchase becomes easier to justify when its job is modest and measurable, such as reducing inconvenient light changes during a meeting. Avoid attaching administrative claims to a device whose sensing output does not establish identity or a complete usage record.
