Assess contents, condition and account status through the actual seller’s return process.
Compare the returned package with the original contents list. Small brackets, cables and rail-specific parts may be easy to overlook but essential to the next installation. Keep the customer’s return reason attached to the item while the responsible party decides how it will be handled.
Check whether the device remains associated with an account and follow the manufacturer’s applicable reset or transfer instructions. Do not try to access the customer’s private environment or request their password simply to make the unit appear reusable.
A return is not automatically saleable as new. Keep its status clear until the authorised process is complete, and disclose condition where a future offer requires it. This protects the buyer and keeps ordinary inventory from absorbing unresolved support problems.
Before you order
- Check every included mounting and power part.
- Handle account removal through approved instructions.
- Keep return status separate from new stock.
