Create separate CA/CAD and US/USD purchasing lines even when both sites use the same product family.
Begin with the manufacturer model and then identify the actual regional package. The Lutron kit page, for example, distinguishes a Canadian kit suffix. A familiar product name on two storefronts is not enough to assume the boxes, support arrangements or included accessories are identical.
Keep currency, seller, quantity and the date of the quotation attached to each regional line. Do not reuse a US promotional amount as a Canadian offer. Shipping, warranty handling and installation scope should be confirmed for the destination rather than assumed from a global product page.
You can still use a common functional standard across both properties: what the device should do and how it will be handed over. Procurement records then show how each country meets that standard with its confirmed local configuration.
Before you order
- Identify the regional SKU or kit suffix.
- Keep seller and currency on every price line.
- Confirm support handling for each destination.
