Keeping a preferred wall plate can make a behind-the-switch module attractive. But the module still needs a suitable enclosure, wiring, approved load and a sensible way for residents to operate the result.
Aqara T2 relay and H2 US wall switch are different tools. Ask the installer which fits the actual circuits and intended control behaviour before buying either. The smaller box in the catalog does not necessarily mean a smaller installation job.
