Identify the supported track profile and travel before comparing motors.
A renter may want automated curtains without replacing the installed rail. That is a useful goal only if the existing hardware fits a supported motor arrangement and the proposed installation is permitted. Take both a full-window photograph and a close-up of the track.
Curtain 3 and the track-version E1 have their own variant and fitting requirements. Check profile, curtain weight, end stops and the space needed for movement and charging. The E1 also requires a compatible Aqara hub; supported remote SwitchBot functions need their matching arrangement.
Keep the original hardware and a clear removal plan. A well-matched retrofit can make a hard-to-reach curtain pleasant to use, but forcing an unsupported rail usually adds expense and disappointment. Ask for a fit decision first, then compare complete window packages rather than ordering the motor with the most appealing demonstration.
Before you order
- Confirm permission and track profile.
- Check end stops, weight and travel.
- Plan charging and removal access.
