Configuration & approach
Project scope
Presence-based inactivity alerts, night-route lighting and temporary lock access for family and friends were combined with an alert contact sequence, readable operating instructions and defined remote-viewing permissions.
Presence and inactivity alerts depend on devices, connectivity and configured conditions. They are not medical monitoring or an emergency-response service and do not replace care arrangements.

Presence-based inactivity alerts, night-route lighting and temporary lock access for family and friends were combined with an alert contact sequence, readable operating instructions and defined remote-viewing permissions.
Lutron Caséta whole-home dimming, ecobee climate zoning and FP2 presence sensing in key rooms were planned alongside the renovation schedule, including site-condition checks and equipment installation milestones.
Wireless dimming, battery-powered locks, outlet energy monitoring and curtain motors formed an upgrade path without rewiring. Signal coverage, hub placement and future expansion conditions were recorded.
Scheduled curtains, gradual lighting dimming, an overnight temperature profile and presence-triggered night lighting were arranged around sleep routines, with separate preferences for both occupants.
