Review a requested change before adding equipment or promising that it fits inside the original quotation.
A buyer may add a room, another control point or an integration after seeing the first demonstration. Record the new behaviour in plain language. It may require more devices, a different controller arrangement or extra commissioning rather than only another copy of the same item.
Show which equipment and work lines change and which remain the same. Ask the relevant installer or integrator to review site-dependent consequences. Do not assume the product seller can approve every electrical, network or account change alone.
Keep the approved revision with the earlier scope so receiving and installation use the same version. This need not be a complicated document. A brief, dated change record prevents an attractive sales conversation from becoming a disagreement about what the buyer expected to receive.
Before you order
- Describe the added behaviour explicitly.
- Review affected equipment and service lines.
- Use one approved revision for fulfilment.
